Trio Bohémo

Matouš Pěruška violin, Kristina Vocetková cello, Jan Vojtek, piano

Shortly afterwards they were awarded 2nd prize at the prestigious Gianni Bergamo Award in Lugano. Following this success the trio was selected to join Le Dimore del Quartetto network, which later awarded them the prize for the ensemble of the year 2021. In summer 2021, they were awarded special prizes for the Best Interpretation of the Work of Viennese Classicism, Czech Contemporary Chamber Music and Work by Bohuslav Martinů at the ISA Festival in Austria. Only a few days later, they won the first edition of the International Filippo Nicosia Award in Italy. In September 2021, the trio won the first prize and the audience prize at the International Johannes Brahms Competition in Austria. In October 2021, they won the International Parkhouse Award in London and in February 2022 they were guests on BBC Radio 3’s ‘In Tune’ shortly before performing the Parkhouse Award’s 30th anniversary concert. In March 2022 the trio won first prize and prize for the best interpretation of S. Vainiunas composition at the International Stasys Vainiunas Chamber Music Competition in Vilnius, Lithuania. Only a week later they were awarded second prize (with no first prize awarded) and prize for the best performance of contemporary piece at the International Joseph Joachim Competition in Weimar, Germany.

For the 2022/23 season, the trio was selected for the Britten Pears Young Artist Programme. Other highlights of the season include recitals in Wigmore Hall (London), Stoller Hall (Manchester), Solti Hall (Budapest) and appearances at festivals such as Classix Festival (Romania) and Shaldon Festival, Devon. The trio will perform across Europe.

Since 2020, they have been members of the European Chamber Music Academy, studying under the guidance of professors such as Hatto Beyerle, Johannes Meissl, Patrick Jüdt and Avedis Kouyoumdjian. The opportunities provided by ECMA enabled them to perform at multiple stages across Europe.
